Nacho Z Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 This was just a quick, fun, stress free build. I built it box stock and did not sweat the details. She is a 3-footer, not a contest quality build by any means. It is good to just knock out a build and not worry about every little detail. I am a bit of a sucker for Coca-Cola liveries, (when they make sense). I did not do a WIP thread because there really wasn't too much interesting things to post. Hope you enjoy it. 1
Classicgas Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 Looks good. If this kit had offered stock parts I would have gotten it.
shoopdog Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 John, your quick build is just fantastic looking. I really like the red you used.

espo Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 Turned out great. I notice that the rear door looks like it may open ? The rear side panel looks like it could be replaced with a window also. I like the wheel and tire combo.
Modelbuilder Mark Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 Best representation of this kit built box stock I have seen.
Phildaupho Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 You certainly did this kit justice, Very nicely done.
Dragonhawk1066 Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 Looks really good for a "quick build". Especially the paint.

You could cut open the back door, however. The side panels are actually clear plastic windows. I installed them, (they don’t really fit all that well), and painted them from the inside. I then sprayed them primer and body color from the outside.
1930fordpickup Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 I agree with the others, this is a good looking model.
Red318 Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 Love it! That's a real nice build. That Coca-Cola livery sits really well on a 32..
Snake45 Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 Very VERY nice! That red is spectacular! Well done and model on!
stavanzer Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 This kit finally has some decent tires. They look great on your build. There are a tone of options in this kit, so Box Stock can cover an enormous range of builds. You have really showcased how good it can look built just like the box art. This just ensures I'll be getting one, myself. You have a great Build there, and it does not look like a "3 Footer" to me.
Rob Hall Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 Nice...I have the old MPC 'Truckin' On Down' molded in black version, looks like the same wheels. These wheels and tires look like they would look good on a muscle car also..
