Furiousgeorge Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 One more for the shelf! 1971 Plymouth Duster 340, in the closest I could find to Bahama Yellow. My wife chose the colour combo. I did this one box stock for a local contest. A decent kit, but final body-chassis assembly is a nightmare, and the decals don’t lay down great (hence the missing tail panel decals). All told, fairly happy with it. Sorry for the background clutter, I haven’t set up any kind of photo area yet!
Hmann68 Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Super nice! I love Bahama yellow on Dusters and Demons!
espo Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Very nice clean looking build. I just picked up one of these and have it in the Q for next month to build.
Steamboat Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Sweet! Love that kit. The tire lettering looks awesome. How did you do it?
Furiousgeorge Posted April 24, 2019 Author Posted April 24, 2019 Thank you everyone! The yellow turned out better then I thought it would. The tires are pre-lettered, thankful for that! I don’t mind hand lettering tires, but pre done ones are definitely better for my eyes!
David G. Posted April 25, 2019 Posted April 25, 2019 Nice tidy build. The chassis overspray is well done too. David G.
Geno Posted April 25, 2019 Posted April 25, 2019 That is super cool Trent. I love the Dusters and Demons of these years, so sharp.
