1965 Ford Galaxie 500 XL

After almost a year since I started it is now done. Color is Root Beer Kandy. Interior is Champagne and Dark Copper. 
Engine is parts paks 427 with holly carbs from fireball. Was gonna do a tub chassis but I’m saving that for another project. ?

Nice job. I was watching the build thread because I  have always liked these cars. My sister has a 1:1 Convertible and back in the '70s she painted it rootbeer brown.

Cool Galaxie.  It sort of looks black until you changed the direction of the camera and on that interior picture the root beer really show well.  Bet it kind of runs rough though, one of your spark plug wires has come disconnected.

Lol yeah it probably does run rough. I noticed it to after posting. Will get it fixed. Thanks ?

I really like this Galaxy. The paint finish is nice and smooth and the black color gives it a great sinister look. The interior colors compliment the overall look.

This is another one of those colors that is almost impossible to discern from black in artificial light.

Some out door shots will really bring out the color.
