Kararic Posted April 13, 2020 Posted April 13, 2020 Greetings, This is my latest model I built. It is different for me since I don't usually build kits like this. It is a Revell 29 Model A Roadster. I was originally going to build it stock until I saw the stance and how high it sat. I decided to lower it and make the front narrower. Because of this I had to modify quite a few suspension components. I made my own custom rear springs. I had modify and cut the front headlight mounts to fit in since there was not enough room for them. I replaced the stacks in the engine with aluminum ones. I painted the model using Splash Paints Octane Red and their cream color. I like the kit very much. it was fun and frustrating at times, but that was my own fault since I cant leave anything alone and have to "modify" it somehow. The only fault I observed was the windshield surround was extremely bent which caused me great grief with installing the windshield. I will definitely build more of these and probably leave them stock, besides detailing the engine a little. Please let me know what you guys think and fell free to give me suggestions. Thank you for looking. 1
Dragonhawk1066 Posted April 13, 2020 Posted April 13, 2020 Beautiful roadster! Very well done! Great color combo! Kind of looks Iron Man inspired, something one would see Tony Stark cruising around in.

peekay Posted April 13, 2020 Posted April 13, 2020 Nice looking rod. I like the chrome-delete treatment of the wheels.
