Hello guys!

Just completed this '56 Chevy Delray. Color combo is Crocus Yellow/Laurel Green or "Mustard and Custard" as it was nicknamed.

Revell California Wheels kit.

Beautifully built. Great paint work and the colors always looked best together. The finishes on the engine have just enough gloss or lack of it.

Beautiful !  Your choice of colors seems perfect for this car , plus it's a super clean build . Great job !

Beautiful build and great workmanship but I can't get behind the colors. I spent most of my childhood and early teen years trying NOT to be seen in the back seat of my folks' similarly-colored '59 Bel Air (they kept the hideous thing NINE YEARS ). Oh, the humanity!

Seriously, though, nice work. B)

Beautiful, my favorite color combo on a 56 and you got the black/white delray interior correct as well. I built one exactly like yours years ago raked up with wide cragars but my foil job didnt come close to yours. Congratulations on this great build

I used similar colors on a '58 Bonneville.

The colors are "Burma Green" and "Calypso Green".

Personally, I think these kinds of colors go very well together, and today at least, they stand apart from the usual red, black and aqua.
