BlackSheep214 Posted May 31, 2020 Posted May 31, 2020 Very nice. I did the exact kit recently in Desert Rose and White. Did the trim with Bare Metal Foil with zero issues. The trick in working with BMF is work slow and small sections. I use Q-tips to rub in the foil and those extremely sharp Z series Xacto blades. See my 55 BelAir in my Recent builds thread.
Dragonhawk1066 Posted June 1, 2020 Posted June 1, 2020 Nice colors and paint job! Great choice for wheels too! Looks sharp!
Kararic Posted June 1, 2020 Author Posted June 1, 2020 Thank you guys for your comments and suggestions.
Bills72sj Posted June 1, 2020 Posted June 1, 2020 Very nice indeed. White over red is my favorite color combo for a '55.
Wm David Green Posted June 1, 2020 Posted June 1, 2020 Asmir, this is a beautiful model, inspirational build and finish. I'm in a COVID19 lock-down rut at the moment, lacking 'drive' so to speak, so thank you.
crazyjim Posted June 1, 2020 Posted June 1, 2020 Nice and SHINY ??? with a perfect stance. I like it.
Jantrix Posted June 1, 2020 Posted June 1, 2020 Outstanding work. Hopefully we'll see you at our club meeting one day. Look for the Treasure Valley Car Modelers on Facebook. Our meeting are first Thursday of the month at the Hobby Town USA at 6pm.

Jim B Posted June 1, 2020 Posted June 1, 2020 Very nice looking '55 Bel Air, Asmir. I recently built this kit, and I had a heck of a time with the fit, if I remember correctly.

Supernurd Posted January 15, 2022 Posted January 15, 2022 You did a great job on this. I still cant understand how AMT screwed up the headlight bezels on the 55 Nomad but got this one right.
larman Posted January 15, 2022 Posted January 15, 2022 Great paint job and the wheels are perfect for it! Nice old school street machine!
Rick L Posted January 16, 2022 Posted January 16, 2022 Very pretty! I have that kit waiting on a shelf and you have have just convinced me what my next build will be. I did notice a warp issue on the interior bucket on my kit. Could you give me a heads up on any issues you had? Thank you for sharing Asmir.
Reeves Racing Posted January 16, 2022 Posted January 16, 2022 Gorgeous, too bad you have the front wheels on the back and vice versa.
bisc63 Posted January 16, 2022 Posted January 16, 2022 Great job! Beautiful color combo, and the engine bay is just right on. Well done.
