89AKurt Posted November 11, 2020 Posted November 11, 2020 I spotted the DSC plate. ? That's really cool, love the engine stuffed in there. Won't it need wheelie bars?

Won't it need wheelie bars? Good eye Kurt. I started planning the build right around the time DSCV 16 was happening. I knew then I needed one of those plates for this build, seemed appropriate. Wheelie bars are like training wheels... besides I’m a light foot ? Cheers, Steve
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted November 12, 2020 Posted November 12, 2020 Top notch work! It sure looks like you have a hood full there!
bobthehobbyguy Posted November 12, 2020 Posted November 12, 2020 Wow the Anglia is gorgeous. Anglias are neat little cars. Great paint and well executed.
Steve H Posted November 12, 2020 Author Posted November 12, 2020 Thanks for the kind words all. Steve
Beamerman Posted November 12, 2020 Posted November 12, 2020 Customwork at its best. i like it very much. Great work.
Mr. Metallic Posted November 12, 2020 Posted November 12, 2020 Thanks for taking us along for the ride because your results are stellar. The paint looks like you can swim in it, and the wheel/tire package is just right
PatW Posted November 13, 2020 Posted November 13, 2020 Over the years we've seen numerous Anglia rods like this on their way to our local drag strip at Santa Pod. Superb build, a very nice change to the usual Anglia dragster, well done!
Koellefornia Kid Posted November 13, 2020 Posted November 13, 2020 Stunning build! These Anglias always were some kind of ugly duckling to me, but here we have a beautiful (and mean looking) swan!
misterNNL Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Stunning build. Well planned and detailed with unique custom touches. The low placement of the headlight buckets really draws the viewers eye down thus adding to the ground hugging stance. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.

Hi Tom, I must say I’m very humbled to have you compliment one of my builds sir. I have been a fan of your builds for years. The low headlights really changed the look, along with the rear fenders, changed the overall look of the car quite a bit. Most of my builds are ground huggers, I like low! Thanks for looking, cheers, Steve
BeakDoc Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Stunning!! Everything about it is stunning!
crazyjim Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Came out excellent. Great details and beautiful SHINY ???? paint.
svend66b@gmail.com Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Stunning! And a LOT of engine for an Anglia!

Mine is a fenderness three window coupe high boy combining a Monogram '34 roof clip and AMT '32 Ford roadster rear quarter panels and deck lid. Edited November 14, 2020 by misterNNL Forgotten details

I had a sneak peak at Tom's Anglia... and let me tell you it's going to be a truly creative mash-up! You know, the kind of built that makes you say" I know they changed something.. but I can't tell for certain what it is"... which is what a true sucessfull redesign should aim for. CT
