Mopar - D
I’m building the A&N resin Power W 2500 aka RAM Power Wagon. It’s going to be white with the black Power Wagon graphics. I ordered the 6.4 Hemi engine and the detailed suspension to go with it. This is a very detailed kit with minimal flash to remove. I’ve started on the engine so far. Merging the 3 instructions together required some studying and marking them up so I don’t go to far with out switching over to the other instructions. Here’s what I have so far. modelercarl
Dan, I started my kit about 2 weeks ago. Got the 3 kits washed, primed and have started assembly. By far the most challenging kit I have built. I think that you are going to enjoy working on this model.
iamsuperdan
Dang. This is the kind of thing that is going to make me take the plunge and buy this kit. Wifey's gonna kill me when she sees the cost. lolz

wrenchr
Not bad. I was thinking a lot more. still pricy don't get me wrong. I have a lot of kits on the bucket list far less than that still.
Mopar - D
A little more progress I’m really enjoying this build it’s not going to be a quick build for me. There’s all kinds of details in this kit and lots of small parts. The frame went together without any problems and primer on the engine. Carl, I can’t agree more about the most challenging kit to build. I am enjoying it as its making me work at it and have to figure out a lot more than what I’m used to. AmericanMuscleFan
I'm glad to see you at work on the new Power Wagon Dan! I received the engine and suspension kit last week and have to say this is the most detailed resin kit I have ever seen (the most expersive too...)! I have no plans to build this anytime soon, so I will be very interested to see your progress and your opinion on the whole product.
Jordan White
For the price and the fact that it has resin tires and all of the parts aren't included in the base kit means I am passing on this kit. I am interested though to see it built, since it does appear to have plenty of detail and it is a modern subject.
Mopar - D
Francis so far everything is fitting together nicely but I have to study the instructions carefully. Joran for $8 bucks I’ve got some aftermarket tires coming and as far as the cost goes when I’m building a resin big rig by the time I get done buying the resin cab and donor kits it’s comes out about the same as this kit. Mopar - D
I’ve done some painting on the engine and more work on the frame. So far there’s 14 PE parts on the frame. Here’s my progress pictures. Edited November 15, 2020 by Mopar - D
AmericanMuscleFan
Great job Dan! I also planned to by replacement tires for my RAM so speaking of aftermarket tires, do you know if they are for 17 inch wheels like modern trucks or for older ones with 15 inch wheels? Maybe if they are made with a soft enough rubber they will easily stretch to fit the wheels?! Keep us posted, I'm interrested.
Mopar - D
Francis I ordered mine from Scenes unlimited they are the T30 17”x35” but they are 1/25 scale. I will know on Tuesday when they arrive.
Mopar - D
My tires from Scenes Unlimited arrived today. They are not as tall as the resin kit tires but they are wider. The rims will work with the new tires. Here’s how they look.
kilrathy10
Yes Sir... It appears you're very much on your way... Looks quite remarkable with all the little bits and details included in this kit... Very nice work, Man... And I like those tires way better than the kit ones... The lower profile is much better... Mattilacken
What a kit! Looks terrific and hard at the same time! Probably way to fiddle for me! Great work on that frame!

iamsuperdan
Those tires are a much better fit for these trucks. On the real thing, the tires don't fill the wheel wells as fully as they do on the stock kit. This one I delivered to a client a couple of weeks ago. Believe me, as the former owner of a 2018 model, I am very seriously considering making one of these my next truck. I miss that old silver beast. martinfan5
So the T30's is it, will be getting a set for mine, defiant improvement over the resin tires.
mikemodeler
Those tires from Scenes Unlimited definitely look better the kit tires. Danny has a lot of options for tires in that size and they are all very nice. Just a warning, in checking his website he has posted he is swamped with orders so some patience is needed if you do place an order.
