Joe Handley Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 Problem is, it’ll probably fall on it’s side if he hammers it from a dig!

What you're actually gonna hear is that tortured front UJ snapping, the sound of metal twisting as those ridiculous shackles pretzel, and the resulting screeeeeeee-thump as she pole-vaults on the driveshaft.
Rob Hall Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 It reminds me of the style of Johnny Lightning Zingers/Street Freaks diecasts..would be fun to build in 1/25th scale.
larry ray Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 In the 70s Rod & Custom had a section called (I think) highboys I lived in Ks I remember seeing at least two in Topeka Ks at different times

I have a magazine somewhere, that highlighted a shop that did high end gassers and freaks. They turned out a really cool GTO. I think that magazine was about seven years ago.
Daddyfink Posted December 3, 2020 Posted December 3, 2020 It was a great way to push out old product, just rebrand it!

Rob Hall Posted December 3, 2020 Posted December 3, 2020 (edited) That high riding Catalina reminds me of MPC box art, like the MPC '70 Impala... Or the '72 Impala.. Edited December 3, 2020 by Rob Hall
NYLIBUD Posted December 3, 2020 Posted December 3, 2020 Wow that’s some crazy stances IMO.Not really my thing.I like my cars tubbed and slammed. But to each his own.

There were monster trucks in the day that had leaf packs that were arched like that as well.........though somehow I’d imagine that the ride and handling of those were better than most of those “Street Freaks”....
