Gramps46 Posted December 20, 2020 Posted December 20, 2020 Excellent workmanship. Your attention to the authentic details is noteworthy. I like how you did a dark wash on the panel lines and the roof louvers in particular. I am tempted to remove the sills and add them separately on my next Fujimi build.
TarheelRick Posted December 20, 2020 Posted December 20, 2020 Excellent rendition of one of the most beautiful car designs ever. Your attention to detail is above reproach. Thanks for sharing it.
Rich Chernosky Posted December 20, 2020 Posted December 20, 2020 Great job on that one Josh. I saw a picture of that car when it was at the auction and you nailed it quite well.
Venom Posted December 20, 2020 Author Posted December 20, 2020 Hey guys, thank you so much for your meaningful comments! I’m so happy that you appreciate it!?
vamach1 Posted December 20, 2020 Posted December 20, 2020 Fantastic build. I hope when I finally build some of the embarrassing number of Fujumi MKI and MKII kits I have that they come out looking half as good as yours.

Thank you Rex... and we both know it would’ve looked lousy without the headlight covers. You spared me from a lot of headache... You the man!?

Phildaupho Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Excellent build with maybe the most striking livery of the '66 GT-40's. I especially like the look of the side window vents propped open.
Randy D Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 That is just plain gorgous Josh !!!!! Randy
Bainford Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 Outstanding GT40. Nice work, fine finishes. Really loving the work on the side glass. Superb.
65slotcar Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 nice build and great paint work. open side glass is a cool touch

When I ordered this kit my original intent was to paint it in the livery of Ken Miles car, but the more I saw the pictures of all of them on the web I really took a liking to the gold one the most. At least for the 66 year like you said. The ‘peach’ color is a surprisingly difficult color to match.
