Geno Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 (edited) A myriad of things happened this year that really put a damper on my builds including the loss of my Dad. But here it is. '69 Coronet R/T built with the Monogram Super Bee as the base. Thanks for looking. Merry Christmas and God bless to you all.? Edited December 21, 2020 by Geno
espo Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 My condolences for the loss of your father. Your RT looks great. Very cleanly built and the paint finish is nice and shinny. I like the Red Lines on this also.
fivesuns Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 My condolences also. That is a beautifully built mopar.
robertw Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Not a fan of green cars but this one looks very nice in this shade of green. Condolences on your loss. My father passed away several decades ago but I lost my brother and mother a couple of years ago and I know it takes a lot to get over it.
grodudulle77 Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 I really like the color , very nice work !! ??
traditional Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 WOW, Geno!! That's super gorgeous. The interior and engine compartment detail as well as the paint and clean build style certainly does it for me. I enjoyed getting together with you at the final NNL Nationals a little over a year ago and I hope we'll get the chance to get together again sometime in the coming year.
AMT68 Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Gorgeous build on a nicely detailed model. I have to get one of these. As a fan of green cars this one is an awesome shade. And sorry for your loss.
oldscool Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Beautiful! You only did one but it's a good one.
Geno Posted December 22, 2020 Author Posted December 22, 2020 Thanks to you all for the kind words. Cliff, I hope we can get together soon as well. My dad was the one that really got me into cars and I've never stopped lol. Love ya Pops and I miss you.
Bills72sj Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 Sorry for the loss of your Dad. I would love to have an R/T built exactly like that. If you ever get tired of it I would prominently place it in my display cabinet.

Smitty Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 Talk about two thumbs up! Great job on your RT Gene! This model has it all. Love the color. A VERY clean build. 2020 was not too good to you Gene, but it sounds like you have some great memories to look back on. Eric
majel Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 That is really a nice, clean build. Sorry about your dad, it's tough no matter how old they are or how old you are. I lost my 38 year old son in law this year after a three year fight with cancer. Building models has really helped me keep my sanity through that and this pandemic.
TooOld Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 Very well done ! One very nice build is always a good thing , hopefully 2021 will bring better things for us all .
Geno Posted December 22, 2020 Author Posted December 22, 2020 Again, thank you all for the condolences and kind words. What a great bunch of friends to share with here.☺️
Dann Tier Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 VERY sorry for your loss, and that one build is BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I think i only managed one this year...two at the most...
doorsovdoon Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 Absolutely stunning looking build this, I just love the colour. Sorry to hear about your dad, and this year of all years, that's rough. Thoughts are with you.
StevenGuthmiller Posted December 24, 2020 Posted December 24, 2020 Yeah, but it's a great one!! Steve
