I have done a few of these myself.

Lately I have been tempted to buy one of these, and leave it like yours in the "before" stage,

to remind me where I came from in those early years of model building and how "COOL"

that time was when my own model cars cars looked like your "before."

Your "before" is a cool reminder of the past.

Beautiful looking Merc. Those Mercury Cruiser Skirts were a real popular accessory back then. Great looking stock paint and trim . The original kit looks like builder used every option that was in the box at the time.

Back then didn't all of us use everything that came in the box?  Very nice looking transformation. The lady in the evening gown adds a touch of class to the build.
