Mark,  I wasn't meaning anything bad about your truck so I hope you didn't read it that way.  Just looks like that bottle of BSI is setting in the bed of the truck.  Looks kinda kewl.

Oh, I see what you mean, DUH on my part. I didn't think you meant anything bad by it, I just had a bit of a brain fart. It's been one of those weeks. Seriously though, I really do need to clean up my bench so it doesn't look like such a mess. Or find a cleaner place to take pictures.?

Thanks guys, I have something else I could use your help with. I hate doing interiors so I usually just go black with little details. Any suggestions on color for the floor, seats, dash, well I guess the whole interior? I don't want to go crazy with it but more than just black blah. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

The OEM interior colors might have been a combination of the blue and white exterior colors. Usually a commercial vehicle like this would have a black heavy duty rubber floor covering. Since this isn't exactly an OEM truck with the bucket seats and the Ford dash, do you want a nice custom interior or something that looks like it was sort of what ever the wrecking yard had laying around when you found the seats. Do it which ever way you think looks best, I'm sure you'll make it look good.

Good work Mark

I like the bumper choice - even a piece of rusty rectangular plastic stock suitably weathered would have fit the theme of the build as well

Keep up the good work

Alright, I finished the interior (didn't come out the way I wanted) but it's done. I used some blue shop towel for the floor, I just thinned some white glue & water to lay it down. The dash kept cracking in half where cut it to narrow it so when I finally got it fixed I ended up opening the glove box. I really don't know why I did all that extra work but it opens & closes. I had to make my own windshield and rear glass and that was a huge PIA too. It's about finished, which is good because I'm getting tired of looking at this thing.

Thanks Jerry, I'm just about finished. I have some touchup to do, tail lights, mirror & plates. I'll get some pics and post them under glass soon.  Thanks again to everyone who commented and helped with this one.

It looks great Mark!  I love it from all angles, very realistic and tasteful like everything else you do, you are a master in the art of reproducing the rust and wear of time. ?

Thanks Francis, I only wish I had just a taste of your talent. Me being able to ruin a paint job isn't that impressive. It's finally finished & in the under glass section.

Hi Mark, this build turned out absolutely awesome!! What a beauty, and don’t sell yourself short on the weathering. There are very few that can pull it off. Your weathering is spot on. I will have a look under glass. Also congratulations on having one of your builds in the new contest cars, well done.

Cheers, Steve
