It's so much different, and fun to be here now, And I'm really enjoying myself ??

It’s a great forum with the best people. I left Scale Auto to come here 10 years ago. Keep posting those fabulous models sir..

Yes, I also enjoy participating in this forum. Many knowledgeable and helpful members.  I've only been a member since 2014, so I guess I missed the "bad years"?

What specifically was the problem?  Nasty members, was it over-moderated, or something else?  I believe that user profiles are not purged after a member leaves.  What was your original username, and couldn't you just rejoin using the original user name?

I have to agree. Been here a few years and never have considered going anywhere else. I can remember a couple of bullies showing up but they don't last very long. The best part besides the encouragement from other members is if you have a problem or are unsure about something the wealth of knowledge and willingness to help or make suggestions as amazing.

Short-time member here.  I appreciate that members are polite and supportive as someone else said.  So many forums contain posts that start off helpful, only to spiral into arguing and insults... middle school stuff.  I haven't seen that here, and I only see complimentary comments any time a built model is posted for viewing.  That's awesome!  Hard for me to find time during the warm, dry months, so I've been away for some months.  But I look forward to catching up and seeing what's new.

So nice to hear such positive reviews. Been gone about a dozen years and wasn't sure what to expect when I came back, but decided to give it another try.

Very pleasantly surprised how people are so supportive and positive, and answer any questions you may have.

Looking forward to being here a lot longer.

I’m a member of a few forums. My first model forum was FSM until I was banned because of their moderators  quick reaction over innocent posts. I rejoined again under new screen name and was monitored again by the moderators his being banned for the second time in a year. LOLOL! 

During my first time at FSM, I joined a far much better forum over at Scale Plastic Aircraft Models; aka: SPAM. It’s not just aircrafts but all genre of model kit are discussed there. SPAM isTHE best forum site outside FSM. I joined here a couple years because of car models alone.

The other is Scale Model Addict. I don’t frequent there often but do stop in from time to time.

Nothing wrong with mentioning other forums. I can tell you this, SPAM is a small very friendly forum with NO drama at all.

I know, I’m simply saying that I have no interest... I feel fortunate that I found this one right of the bat and it turns out IMHO that it’s the best one, so I have no need for anything more.?
