Limeyglue Posted October 28, 2021 Posted October 28, 2021 Just finished up my model A. Drag City resin body on a Revell 29 roadster chassis modified by z"d front and raised kick up. Wheels are from the Swindler A Willys. Paint is clear red over metallic grey and mica silver. Thanks for looking Lee 2
happy grumpy Posted October 28, 2021 Posted October 28, 2021 Really nice. I like the red on red treatment. The sanded tires add to realism.
chris chabre Posted October 28, 2021 Posted October 28, 2021 now thats a hot rod!!! very close to how Id actually build it as well
Hoffman Posted October 28, 2021 Posted October 28, 2021 Incredible! Loved the Work-In-Progress thread too. Great work!
Zippi Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 Yeah now that's an old school Hot Rod. Looks like I could get in and drive down the main drag with one arm out the window and one hand on the wheel. Awesome job.
espo Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 Beautiful looking paint work. I like the body rake and the cleanly trimmed engine.
Mr. Metallic Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 Very nicely done. That stance is just killer, and the paintjob is stunning.
Keef Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 Absolutely beautiful build!!! The colors, the wheel/tire choice, the engine!!! All VERY well done!!
Phildaupho Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 Great looking A-Coupe especially the paint scheme and the big headlights
carrucha Posted October 30, 2021 Posted October 30, 2021 Cool hotrod. Good work on the paint and engine.
Dennis Lacy Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 Man, this came out awesome! Love the paint scheme (just now noticed it carries over onto the frame side rails) and the car looks super aggressive thanks to the stance, wheels & tires and injected Nailhead.
Jim Whalen Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 Great hot rod Lee. I'm hoping to see it at Telford in a couple of weeks.

Thanks Dennis I'm really happy how it turned out. The paint really pops in the right light but is really difficult to photograph.
