TooOld Posted December 1, 2021 Posted December 1, 2021 Looking at the photos it's hard to tell what's BMF and what's foil , your hand is steadier than mine ! I guess we'll survive without using BMF . Seriously though , we're all critical of our own work but from what I can see it turned out great . . . Congrats !

Yeah I guess it's that bit of perfectionist sticking out in me. I can't seem to achieve it but sure like chasing it ☺
Peter Lombardo Posted December 1, 2021 Posted December 1, 2021 Very nice, so very clean. Really well done.
Steve H Posted December 1, 2021 Posted December 1, 2021 Hi Bob, this turned out great! You nailed the colour combo, the blue with white on the body and blue /white interior look fantastic. I know you had bad luck with the foil, but as others have said, you must have a steady hand cause I can’t tell the foil from Molotow. Nicely done ?? Cheers, Steve
Andrew McD Posted December 1, 2021 Posted December 1, 2021 Despite the foil fighting you I think you have produced a really fine looking model. I have recently had reconstructive surgery on my left ankle which leaves me unable to get to my basement modeling bench. For the time being I am planning projects with much inspiration provided by you and the terrific community of scale auto enthusiasts in this forum. Keep up the great work.

mustang1989 Posted December 2, 2021 Posted December 2, 2021 I like your take on this car with the wheels and tires. I think I still have this kit in the stash. Sure would like to build it after looking at this.
doorsovdoon Posted December 2, 2021 Posted December 2, 2021 Nice deep looking blue. The '61 is my favourite of all the models, such a beautiful design.
Zippi Posted December 2, 2021 Author Posted December 2, 2021 Thanks for all the kind words Joe, Eric, Gareth, and Ray. I really appreciate it.
