AMT ‘57 Chevy Cameo

Well, here it is! Finally done. This is my take on the truck from C. W. McCall’s song “Classified.”

Overall this is a good kit. A bit finicky during final assembly and the underside of the cab/bed lack a lot of detail, but since I don’t display them upside down it doesn’t really matter! Thanks for looking.

First of all, I love your weathering job on your truck. Not to be a wise guy But the cameo pickup bed and fenders were fibreglass and wouldn’t have rust stains, faded paint and cracked fibreglas  however was really common. ??‍♂️

Thanks for the feedback and compliment. I knew the bed was fiberglass. I tried my best to make it look faded and distressed without it looking like rust.
