Zippi Posted December 28, 2021 Posted December 28, 2021 (edited) Just finished this one. This is the Revell 1956 FD-100 pickup modified to a Pro Street. Rear axle was shortened 1/8" on both sides and moved up towards the bed 1/8" to get the stance lower. I had to relocate the rear control arms and the shock brackets to the inside of the chassis as the slicks took up all the room on the outside of the chassis. I had to cut into the wheel wells and the bed to get the big ol meats to fit. I cut up pill bottles for the wheel tubs in the bed and added a piece of plastic to the bottom where the embossed letter were to give it a clean look. All the trim & bumpers/running boards were painted with Tamiys Matt Black. I shot it with Rust-Oleum flat white primer then cleared it with Tamiya Clear Pearl. I then polished it with Novus 2 and McGuire's Ultimate Liquid Wax. This was my first model to make this many modifications and I'm pleased with the outcome. bobthehobbyguy Posted December 28, 2021 Posted December 28, 2021 Nice. Looks great in white. Great job on the modifications.
espo Posted December 28, 2021 Posted December 28, 2021 I like the clean crisp look of the body color. Amazing Pro Street conversion. The chassis detailing matches the clean look of the body and paint.

Steve H Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 Wow Bob, this one turned out really nice, it really speaks to me. I love all things pro street, and the white with black trim is a great look, and…. NO FOIL!!. You did a very nice job on this, especially since you stepped out of your comfort zone a bit. Well done! Cheers, Steve

Cheers, Steve I appreciated it Steve. I have a 49 Chevy Restomod that I dearly love but....if I was to build or buy something with a little more muscle for the street this is the way I would want it. 5 hours ago, grodudulle77 said: Awesome look, very clean work !! ?? Dennis Lacy Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 This is my favorite take on the Foose FD100 that I’ve seen yet! I grew up in the 80’s and 90’s so I have a fondness for Pro Street. ? I love the white with black trim, the use of the 80’s billet wheels from the AMT ‘67 Chevelle Pro Street and the stance is WICKED. The truck as a whole just looks bad ass!

Bad Ass was what I was going for. Something that everyone hates to see show up at the local drive-in restaurant on a Friday night.
happy grumpy Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 Another beautiful build Bob. Sure looks awesome in white and the black grille gives it character. Great job.
