This year I will be doing the White Freightliner SD/DD and Double Header trailer Combo.

This will be my interpretation of the "Pacific Intermountain Express" truck unit.

It won't be historically accurate and please don't count the rivets!! LOL

Hopefully it won't take me a year this time.

This will be a very interesting build Roger have you decided on what version of the Frightliner your going with SD or DD?

It will be the SD Day Cab

Looking forward to this build. Hard to get these cabs just right without a lot of reworking,  some comprimises are in order. 2 hole or 5 hand hole steel wheels are available in resin. Looks like your going to use the space saver 48" cab?  ( front part of cab with out the rear section? ) I believe the kit is a 63".

Will be cool to see this come together, I did the same thing years back as the CF set up, was a fun build, other than wrestling that cab together……

This is very interesting information on the options that we available on the cab sizes. I may have to try building the 48” cab with one of my extra cabs.

It’ll be neat if you did the triple like that inspiration photo.

I also agree with Vincent on the triple.

Not much to up-date.

Just working on sub-assemblies and clean up.

Not going to be any outside painting in this neck of the woods for a while.

Not much to up-date the weather has been terrible for painting.

I tried to paint some primer one day, but the wind was too strong.

The chassis on the SD is basically done.

Since I can't paint, I thought I would explore some options, I might be getting ready to do something stupid!!!

Just plugging away, I have a few more ideas spinning in my head.

I figure with the weather here I might be able to paint about September!!!
