espo Posted March 2, 2022 Posted March 2, 2022 The color combination really shows off the body lines and the interior. The chrome moldings and trim are all sharp looking and the accents on the interior look great.
papajohn97 Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 (edited) This Impala bubble-top is one nice build. Black is hard to get right and you really mastered it on this one. First class interior detailing, bright work/ BMF and overall clean meticulous workmanship. My favorite part are those thin-walled tubing exhaust pipe tips…what a difference that makes, gotta try that on a future auto build. Beautiful!!! Edited March 3, 2022 by papajohn97 Content
Hmann68 Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 Sharp as heck! Great color combo and really nice chrome trim ??
Hi-Po Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 That's a beauty for sure! Great paint and your BMF is spot on. Your build brings back memories. My first car was a '59 Impala in Highland Green with two-tone green interior.
Mike C. Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 Beautiful work! Sometimes I think the saying "They don't make em' like that anymore" was invented for this car. ?
bogger44 Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 Just gorgeous! Planning on the same colors whenever I build mine.
Crager Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 Wow! I have this kit and can only hope to build it anywhere near your level of craftsmanship!
Bills72sj Posted March 6, 2022 Posted March 6, 2022 Very nice tri-tone interior and all that foil trim. My my.
IHSS Posted March 6, 2022 Posted March 6, 2022 That looks fantastic. I’ve always been a fan of the rear ends of these.
YBlock292 Posted March 8, 2022 Posted March 8, 2022 Hi Thomas, Your 59 Impala is "spot on". A classic car in a classic color combination. Nice and shiny! Regards Ludwig
Zippi Posted March 8, 2022 Posted March 8, 2022 That is a good looking 59 Chevy. As others have said, the classic black with red interior just looks really nice. I aways loved the look of the dual antennas. Great build.
