happy grumpy Posted April 25, 2022 Posted April 25, 2022 A nice kit to build. It is a repaint as the first attempt did not go well . I stripped it down and chose Tamiya French blue . A friend of mine had a dodge demon back in the late 70's. I wish round2 would have offered both the plymouth and dodge version. thanks for looking. 5
Nacho Z Posted April 25, 2022 Posted April 25, 2022 Great looking Mopar, Mario! You really knocked it out of the park!

Me and you both, and I'd wager, many others, too! Some good soul with 3-D printing chops could put together a package for just such a conversion. Your Plymouth version is built up just fine, however. That is a striking color, but not overwhelming. It really suits the lines of the Duster, and offers good contrast with the black stripes and accents. Sharp car! Now, whatcha hiding under that hood?!
#1 model citizen Posted April 26, 2022 Posted April 26, 2022 Good looking Duster! The color and finished are fantastic! I would like to see a Dodge version, too.
drodg Posted April 26, 2022 Posted April 26, 2022 Very nice job. I just sold a 72 Duster 340 last fall and kinda kicking myself.
unclescott58 Posted April 26, 2022 Posted April 26, 2022 Beautiful! I really love the color. It looks great.
espo Posted April 26, 2022 Posted April 26, 2022 Great looking showroom style build. The second paint job sure looks good. They guys used to refer to that color as "Petty Blue" for obvious reasons.

Thanks Rusty, I think that an aftermarket conversion set would be nice to have. I left the hood close as I left pretty much everything stock and I did not repaint the engine bay. 15 hours ago, Zippi said: Love the French Blue. Engine 51 Posted April 27, 2022 Posted April 27, 2022 Very nice. Makes me think of my 72 Duster. Wish I had that car now.
rsmodels Posted April 28, 2022 Posted April 28, 2022 Mario, I like everything about it. Great color choice. Great photos. It looks like a real car!
Claude Thibodeau Posted April 28, 2022 Posted April 28, 2022 Hi Mario! Very nice, you somehow take me back to my youth. It is "period correct", just as they left the dealership. Bravo! CT
