I use that Pledge "Revive" on some of my builds and I used it last night on the Corvette. Do you think I can find that bottle? I've looked everywhere and I don't know what I did with it.

I always blame "A-line drift", things slipping into alternate lines of probability.

I spent an hour looking for a tool today, and the fourth time I looked in the same place, there it was.   B)

Ask your wife. She might have "appropriated" it and put it with her household stuff. You might laugh, but that's exactly what happened to a bunch of my stuff when I was in the hospital with my stroke. Mrs. Snake appropriated a bottle of rubbing alcohol, a bottle of nail polish remover, a box of toothpicks, even a can of my gun oil!  And that's just what I FOUND in her stuff, who knows what else is missing?

Hmmm. Gun oil, eh? You know where all your guns are?

Uh, yeah. The stuff is called Birchwood Casey Barricade and has a somewhat pleasant smell (pine-y, sort of) and I suspect she thought it was some kind of common lubricant or cleaner or something of the sort.

I recently lost 10 cans of red spray paint I bought to paint some lawn furniture. When we sold the furniture instead, my wife told me to take the paint back and get a refund. I looked for that paint for days. No luck. I finally convinced her I must not have bought it.  About a month later, there  is a bag in the middle of the floor of the laundry room. "What's that?" She says, "Look inside." I did. Red spray paint. "Where was it!" "By the exercise weights."

That explains it.

True story.

Yea misplacing things definitely happens to all of us.My fathers memory is getting worse everyday. He’s on medication for it from his neurologist. But i feel so bad for him, that i moved back home to help him out after my mother passed away.So now it’s just him and myself. It does get frustrating at times.

I did this with a resin Louisville hood I bought off ebay. I opened the box in the living room and "stuck it somewhere safe" until I moved it into my model room. Of course "stick it somewhere safe" translates to "lose immediately".  I spent the next two years periodically looking for this hood, opening every one of the hundreds of models in my hobby room just in case it teleported into one of them. One day, after opening every kit box in the room for at least the 5th, time I see a few promo boxes I'd left out of the last few searches. Out of desperation I start opening the promo boxes and stuck in the bed of a 92 F-150 promo I bought for parts is my hood. The promo had come in the mail a few days before the hood and was also in the living room when I was looking for a safe place for it.

I've lost some fairly large boxes of my records. Its all the big hip hop records from 1990 til 2005 (maybe 150 albums)and i have a very healthy offer for them but can i find them? theres no way i would have thrown them out by mistake because the weight alone would make me check. Its not even like i have a large home, its only 3 rooms and one of thems the bathroom but somehow they have disappeared. All i can think is i've taken them out to my mums house at some time but i'm sure i'd remember that
