yellowsportwagon Posted December 3, 2022 Posted December 3, 2022 A Decko Car Co resin kit. Call me weird but I love simple curbsides. This was an excellent casting. Painted it factory Chateau Mauve with what I call the Ron Hamilton interior. A simple fun kit to build. 10
Jeffcad Posted December 3, 2022 Posted December 3, 2022 Looove it !. Excellent built. I have just finished the 1969 wagon from him, painted the same color as you. Will share it also very soon.
Zippi Posted December 3, 2022 Posted December 3, 2022 Boy that's a good looking color combo on that 69 Coupe DeVille. Very nicely done.
Classicgas Posted December 3, 2022 Posted December 3, 2022 Very nice. Nothing wrong with liking curbsides. I'm getting to like the idea AMT has of reviving the Craftsman line. It's kinda nice having simpler kits to work on, less small fiddly parts to lose. Get em built faster too.
Bills72sj Posted December 3, 2022 Posted December 3, 2022 Very nicely done. You said it was a resin. Was it mfg by another company once upon a time?

Can-Con Posted December 4, 2022 Posted December 4, 2022 Pretty sweet. Great paint too. I've never heard of that resin company, did the bumpers come already plated?

happy grumpy Posted December 4, 2022 Posted December 4, 2022 You nailed that one perfectly. The outside shots bring it to life. Perfect job.
hedotwo Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 I have the same resin kit, just haven't gotten around to it yet. I got mine through his Facebook page and if you search for Decko Car Company you should find him. Top quality and he has many different kits and parts. Good guy also ?
espo Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 In addition to the smooth looking paint, the color really compliments the body lines.
TooOld Posted December 6, 2022 Posted December 6, 2022 Beautiful Coupe Tim , so much nicer than the Sedan body style ! I'm also appreciating curbsides much more as the years creep up on me .
Merkur XR4Ti Posted December 6, 2022 Posted December 6, 2022 (edited) Man do I love this!! What color did you paint the dash? Edited December 6, 2022 by Merkur XR4Ti
Koellefornia Kid Posted December 6, 2022 Posted December 6, 2022 1969 is one of my favourite years for Caddies, just love these beaky fronts! Great build!
