I wonder if they finally modified the Datsun hood unit or cab so they'll actually fit. I've never seen one yet that does.

In on Coronet and Vette. I don’t recall both tops included in the Vette, despite annuals and many reissues. Coronet earlier than I expected.

I recall the Prestige Series release around '87 had the hardtop, but don't think releases after that had it.   Nice to see both back, and maybe the stock wheel covers?

IMHO it would be neat, if the guys at Round2 could include the wrecker parts which were in earlier variations of the Datsun flip-front P/U in the stock version.

The Coronet I already have on pre-order, ready for pickup when back in the US in April, hopefully the H/T isn't far behind.....

Not sure whether or not the Prestige issue Corvette had both tops.  The convertible body and related parts were tooled by Ertl in the late Eighties and are unrelated to the annual kit parts.

With all the work on the Coronet r/t why not put a roof up option ?

If the kit sales are phenomenal, maybe they will do that on a subsequent release.

Coronet - at least one copy !

Datsun Pickup - YES !

I positively love the 2021 [ad seq.] Charger, but I'll wait until the 'A38' (or whatever the police package is dubbed now) version.

The Coronet RT looks interesting, and I like the idea of a utility trailer. The '63 Corvette kit, I'm wondering if they're still using the same engine block for the 427 and the 327 just as AMT did way back when. This was a good kit with a lot of extras, so it's a maybe with a parts box engine swap.

It was in the Dec video as it was originally a Dec release, but IIRC there was a delay so it got pushed back to January.

It appears on the ‘63 Corvette box, that the Germans were doing a lot of racing in the early 40’s.

According to an old copy of the instructions, any way!

I've been wanting the Coronet ever since it was first hinted years ago. Gives me hope for the Demon. I built that Datsun turd when I was a kid and immediately blew it up with a firecracker. Won't be trying it again fifty years later

I'd like to see the Demon receive the same upgrades/updates as the Coronet (new 340 engine, with matching - and corresponding - Torqueflite, and corrected front clip).

I built the tow truck version of the Datsun pickup when it was new (c.1981), and I'd had a difficult time with it (I was 11 or 12). I'd built the stock versions of the same truck from 1977-1979 with zero issues -- must be the different frame, separate front clip, and the interference between the rear wheels and rear wheel openings -- something easily worked around these days (i.e., not purely OOB build).

Yes, please. Stock wheel covers and I'll be in for the '63 Corvette convertible.
