Mothersworry Posted April 7, 2023 Posted April 7, 2023 Built outta the box from a mint, original kit. Finished with Testors paints and vintage Revell parts pack decals. Norm Veber cast up the tires for me to replace the kits plastic hating tires. 9
TonyK Posted April 7, 2023 Posted April 7, 2023 This looks great! Really like these cars but seems the models all disappeared.
papajohn97 Posted April 7, 2023 Posted April 7, 2023 This one is absolutely sweet! Amazing how well this came out from this ancient tooled (I assume) Revell Double Car Kit (Bantam Bomber and Scarlett Screamer?) the replacement tires and metallized wheels and other metallic parts look great against that red exterior/ black interior. This reflects my favorite vintage for altered’s before they went a little nuts with the hiked up front ends and towering superchargers (although I like those too ?). This one is my favorite model car of the day, thank you for sacrificing an $$$$ kit and building and posting it for us to enjoy. Did I read on here somewhere that Atlantis has the molds for these Revell double drag car kits and has plans to re-issue them???
Muncie Posted April 7, 2023 Posted April 7, 2023 Very nicely done, great use of a cool kit with color selection and different levels of shine. I can remember building one of these on a Christmas morning... it was a long time ago. 1
boss 302 mustang Posted April 7, 2023 Posted April 7, 2023 I believe I read somewhere on this board that Atlantis does NOT have the tool for the Bantam body. I was glad I saw that because I was thinking of selling one off....changed my mind quickly!

TarheelRick Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 Very nice work on this iconic racer. Paint work looks flawless. Really enjoy seeing one without a blower.
