rickcaps55 Posted April 8, 2023 Share Posted April 8, 2023 That really turned out awesome I love the old bugs I know there are a lot of car guys that turn there nose up at them but they really are deferent I am 70 and 99% American car guy but growing up I have a buddy that he and I would pick these up used for $300 to $500 and go to the junkyard in the area and get good parts for a few bucks and at the time there were auto shops real auto shops all over and we got custom and performance parts for a few bucks repaint them and ether drive them till they fell apart or sell them for $600 to $800 but they were a blast to work on like a life size toy.
