yellowsportwagon Posted April 29, 2023 Posted April 29, 2023 (edited) I built this to be a way less rusty version of my friends old car. 289 HiPo 4 speed Sauterne gold with a Parchment and green interior. Mostly out of the box with the exception of the tires and some carpeting.I tinted the windows but I think I put a little too much color on. Edited April 29, 2023 by yellowsportwagon 17
Zippi Posted April 29, 2023 Posted April 29, 2023 Great looking Mustang. The tented windows may be a bit much but it looks good. Nicely done. 1
Rattlecan Dan Posted April 29, 2023 Posted April 29, 2023 Exactly what I was going to say. Nice looking car.
Dragline Posted April 29, 2023 Posted April 29, 2023 So well done and that interior is a winner. Well played Sir.
Pierre_tec Posted April 29, 2023 Posted April 29, 2023 That interior, just wow! nice color combo, although I agreed with too much blue on the tinted windows

vamach1 Posted April 29, 2023 Posted April 29, 2023 Very nice build and paint color choices. I do wish Round2 two would make a few changes and substitute the 68 Shelby chassis and forever get rid of the promo style underside with molded in exhaust and rear end and front suspension. At least we did finally get a nice 66 fastback body though which I hope drives down the instance collector prices for original kits. They might as well do a convertible version too since the majority of the kit would be the same as the 66 coupe that has been reissued numerous times in the last 55 years.

That one is way better than the 68

TooOld Posted April 30, 2023 Posted April 30, 2023 Love that color , well done ! What did you use to tint the glass ?
yellowsportwagon Posted April 30, 2023 Author Posted April 30, 2023 3 hours ago, TooOld said: Love that color , well done ! What did you use to tint the glass ? 10% of a blue green mixing toner in some abasecoat clear. Sprayed from inside the glass. With a coat if 2k clear over it. 1
MeatMan Posted April 30, 2023 Posted April 30, 2023 Very well done! The tint would have been perfect only going on the upper part of the windshield, IMO.

But the rest of the glass was also tinted a blue green color. Edited April 30, 2023 by yellowsportwagon 1
espo Posted April 30, 2023 Posted April 30, 2023 The color combination on your friends Mustang looks great. Like the paint work and the detailed interior.
