There was a private label reissue of the Switchers '32 Ford not long before Round 2 took over and ended that program.  It wasn't Model King, it was one of the other companies doing reissues back then.

Yawn. I guess I can't really complain though, the first 3 quarters of this year have brought/will bring a lot of things I've wanted. I suppose that's a good thing, a little bit of something for everybody.

4 AMT Kits and One MPC go on my list.

The Three Big Rig Trailers are of interest, and the '64 MOd Stock is a treasure trove of parts.

The Switchers '32 Is a decent Kit, and has lots of good parts.

Maybe they could open all the gates like they've been doing with the other Mod Stocks and see what else is left? Hopefully enough to make a full detail job out of the often-reissued '64 Craftsman.

My hope is that they one day recreate/reproduce a stock AMT ‘64 annual Ford Galaxie hardtop body with opening hood…

Interesting; the last time the Switchers '32 Ford coupe was released, wasn't it the American Graffiti version?

I think RC released this kit, as well as the Van/ Phaeton and the Model T kits.

I have all of the RC2 Switchers and Switchers based reissues (T roadster, '32 roadster/coupe, '32 phaeton/sedan, American Graffiti coupe) but there was an issue of the '32 roadster/coupe AFTER that, in original Switchers style packaging but without the MPC logo as I recall.

I'm hoping they'll reissue this one. I don't think it was ever reissued in this form although there were some spinoffs from it in the '70s and '80s.

I'd buy a few of that one. I have one but with so many options I can't commit to building just one!

I picked one of those up some years back, not complete but it had most of the parts unique to that issue.  The coupe body is disappointing, looks way undersize (especially the trunk area).  The assembly sequence is goofy too, the cowl is separate and has to be installed after the interior.  Atlantis has made some noise about doing a '27 roadster body, maybe they'll do a decent coupe too.

I'm pretty sure the '32 Coupe was reissued in the Custom Rides series, with the big tires and rims.

Doesn't matter. I want it because I had it as a kid.

Nostalgia is a dirty mistress. ?

Will be interesting to see if they restore the original unchopped top, or just reissue the same chopped top like the last few reissues.

I'm wondering if they did anything to the tooling to freshen it up.

Would be interesting if it turned out to be the Hurst Hemi Under Glass kit.

Out own Rocking Rodney Rat built something cool out of one of these:

My main beef is that the MPC didn't get the shape of the quarter windows right.  The 1:1 has a gentle sweep at the rear corner that differentiates the 26-27 coupes from the earlier T's:
