Nothing says Cannonball than, cool slick color, soft cushy ride,  the growl of a big block and a few pounds of cocaine... ok so I didn't add cocaine to the ride. I will add the tag and backup lights paint soon. But here is the ride. 

(The passenger side dash had to be trimmed to fit right and  then after it went in, I had the big ugly gap, the steering column in the engine bay didnt fit either due to engine placement. When I build this again, it will likely be a bit more wild, this is also a true box stock. Wheels were dechromed)

Got some paint on the door handles, battery is in, back up lights painted, some paint in the grill to break up the pure chrome, and tag goes on tomorrow night. I will take one last set of pics and then it's done!

My Mercedes have come to a point where I don’t know what to do with it paintwise and hood placement and such so it will rest in its box for now.. but I think the Cuda that I started for this might actually make it.. 

it’s painted and some decals are added. I have also painted over the blue overspray underneath with black, much like it was resprayed black after being blue. I also made some Swedish from the era with tax marking and also a old word combination of BD which stands for Norrbotten where I live.

Some more of the progress. The character is a Diesel driver that I made to look like he have a beard mor like one. My kids said, it looks just like you dad, except for the muscles! 😂

Hi everyone! This is a shout out that the deadline is coming up! It’s roughly 1,5 months left so plenty of time to wrap it up! The tension is building and I would love to see as many as possibly making it over the line! 
and a tip.. lower your standards to just get it done!

some times a built model is better than one in the box!

Got some trash in there.. 35h in the ’70’s means that you probably went through a pack or several! And maps is a must!

since the hand was a bit wonky I jammed a smoke pack in there.

I've been working on the Charger of and on. Starting to get everything ready for paint. This was a pretty bad glue bomb, I didn't have a good hood, so used the one from the 71 and added a AAR scoop. Trying for shiny paint, but may end up slightly worn and weathered.

I am, just using the base . It has a magnet in it.
