I was thinking of Revell's S550 Mustangs..but those were super-simplified, sounds like the new one is going to be a step up.   Same series the tractors and one or two of the VW vans were in, IIRC..

I am not familiar with the Stranger Things series, but this is from the Revell AG site.  Maybe enough for aficionados to make an educated guess.

Ok, so it's something from Season 5...which hasn't aired yet.  Interesting.

Not particularly, Season 5 hasn't been aired yet and there's no schedule for it yet beyond "2025".

Might the '73 Mustang have another, different engine too?  I'm not too sure about the 429, but the Boss 351 was definitely gone by then.  The two '71 versions are as good as they get, and I'd bet the '73 will be as good.

Top of the line would have been a Mach 1 with a 351 CJ. The 429 was a '71 only engine. The other '73 engines would the 250 I-6, 2bbl 302 and 2bbl 351.

I've been googling behind the scenes filming images for Season 5 and so far have only found the following 3 vehicles:

It definitely won't be this truck that's the surprise, but I would love for this to be a future spinoff of the Blazer kit:

This radio station van looks like it'll play a big role, but the dimensions don't match what Revell is advertising. This can also be a potential future variant of Revell's Chevy Van.

Steve's BMW will be making a return as it's been seen in behind-the-scenes photos. I still think this might be a strong contender to be the new kit.

Umm, I just got a "lame boring mustang" 3 weeks ago.  With 485 hp and IRS (and discounting its iPad inspired dashboard) its a better car than I'm a driver.  I've got no problem with it being a snapper, my only concern is with the 40 Euro MSRP.  I'll wait and see the US pricing but will likely get several.

Anyone know what "go cart" they are referencing? I can't remember any Revell/Monogram kits with a go cart. closest thing I can think of is the Honda Odyssey that was from years ago.

I dare anyone to stand next to one idling with the four-stage exhaust set to sport or track (i.e. very loud or extremely loud) and not break out into a grin.  Not to mention once someone gets into the passenger, or even better, driver's seat and pulls away from the curb.  Lame and boring?  Ummm, sorry, don't think so.  TB

I've been considering a custom license frame "The Devil is in my foot".  An apt sentiment.  And even though I've just got the base GT; the exhaust sound is glorious.

Revell's post mentions decals, so that van seems a prime candidate (well, except for the word "car"). As for the length, maybe they used a swb ?

351C was available to the bitter end, the only thing that changed was the engine dress. Ironically, the 4V was not available with Ram Air due to a cockup in emission certification, but the 2V was. Alas, a Cleveland with no cam or compression was more like a Zanesville.

It says 1/25 ‘85 Jimmy though, so more likely a version of the new tool Blazer.

And then there's the roof...🤦‍♂️ Too bad, as it's the only J-series Jeep in bi-scale, but, it's a lot of work to correct, and you are still left with a Ceji-era Revell dud-of-a-kit.
