Clay Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 Again, awesome job Curt!! Never saw the Corvette in the under glass though, hope it got finished. Have a Merry Christmas!!
Bernard Kron Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 Oooooh! It's a '29 A Bone hot rod. I gotta like it! Very nice! Your friend should be delighted with this thoughtful gift! :)
Foxer Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 Great job replicating that one! Those wheels ARE "the find" of this build!
george 53 Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 Oh YEAH, THAT'S a Hot Rod!!!! Great build, I'm sure he'll love it!!!
Draggon Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 Great lookin' rod! Looks good seeing something other than the ususal whitewalls and steelies.
carrucha Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 Good job replicating the roadster. He can now display a model of his car with his car at car shows.
oldscool Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 Another fine model from you Curt . Looks just like the photo of the real one.
Sixties Sam Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 Great model! It's nice to have a model of your real car. One question: The top on the 1:1 looks tan in the photo instead of black. Did he change to a black top sometime after the photo was taken? Sam

W-409 Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 That's nice and clean, as always. Your talents are awesome, I can't really find any mistakes of your builds. Thsi paintjob looks very good and engine detailing is very nice too. I like those tires and wheels on it and stance is just perfect. That real thing looks very good too, of course and this model. I like it very much, thank you for sharing it, keep these amazing Hot Rods coming!
crazyjim Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 Excellent job, Curt. If Sherrill doesn't like it, just tell him I'll come get the model and the 1:1.
davyou5 Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 (edited) That's a great likeness to the 1:1! . Edited December 25, 2010 by davyou5
Peter Lombardo Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 Hey Curt...you nailed that one...perfect likeness if the real thing. That would be a cool rod to go cruisin'in on a summer evening. Very cool. Hey Curt...you nailed that one...perfect likeness if the real thing. That would be a cool rod to go cruisin'in on a summer evening. Very cool.
curt raitz Posted December 25, 2010 Author Posted December 25, 2010 (edited) Thanx for all the compliments, it was fun and Sherrill thoroughly enjoyed getting a "Minnie-Me" of his 29 Ford Roadster last night. He plans on showin' it off to his "Car Buds" at the next meet... Edited December 25, 2010 by curt raitz
charlie8575 Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 Nice-looking build, Curt. And a very tasteful rod, too. Charlie Larkin
Kanedge Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Well done, you captured the original very well.
