Got the Bronco kit yesterday, at the lhs. I'm thinking day two, open top, Testors One Coat Icy Blue, no stripe and black interior. The Melrose Missile came from my favorite epay seller. No race car here, however. Going to do a (mostly) facory stock looking "what if" Hemi street machine. ;)

Nearly got them for Christmas, but I've had to pay a customs charge this morning, so I won't get them until Wednesday, but there's two of these sitting at the local post office for me

Bilderesultat for MPC DODGE MONSTER TRUCK

I got one of these as a junkyard, was after the fleetside box, grill and chassis-plate.

Also got a very cheap Hasegawa Honda Civic SIR 1,6 vtec to use with ZoomOn trans-kit.

Other small stuff as styrene sheets, and heard a lot of good about the Tamiya liquid cement,so got one of those.

Oh,and a 63 Bonneville rear grill insert.

Got a few things this week.

Got my second 66 Bronco. What a great looking kit. Can't wait to start on one.

I bought a Molotow 2mm Liquid Chrome paint pen off of Amazon. Going to have to get a 1mm one now.

Here is what the results of the paint looks like. I painted the broken end and top of the broken valve cover. Absolutely matches the kit chrome on the other valve cover.

I also picked up this little 1/32 scale guy for $2.50. Not sure what I'll do with it but I couldn't leave it behind.

Anybody have a chassis and wheels for this?

VERY impressive. Did you put a black base coat on it? I'm going to have to try one.

No base coat on it. The broken end is painted over the bare white styrene and the top is painted over the old kit chrome plating.

i bought the 1mm a few weeks ago, best thing I've found for touching up chrome parts where they've been cut off the parts tree

I have all three size markers.  Folks this is a game changer as a modeling aid.  It is more reflective than anything I have ever used.

Santa brought me a Revell '68 Mustang. It has the parts to build it into a Super Stock car so I think that's what I'll be doing. :)  For some reason my kit has two complete interiors, the second one is in a separate plastic bag and there's a paper that says "'68 Mustang Replacement Parts"... Did Revell make a failure with it or something...? It doesn't matter me, but never seen that happening before.

Yes. They originally had 1967 interior pieces. Revell pretended that they didn't know, but would ship replacement parts if you complained loudly enough. The pattern on the rear seat is still wrong even with the replacement parts.

Oh, that explains it, thanks! Luckily I'm not so big Ford fan that I can live with the wrong upholstery pattern so I don't have to fix it. :D That will be a fun one to build...

Those Molotow pens are pretty expensive.

Not really. A set of three different sizes will set you back about 27 bux from ArtPrimo.com, and a little extra fer shipping. Best chrome finish out. No under coat, is pretty durable to. Just don't rub on it as it will dull. Has anyone clear coated this yet?
