I have a '55 Stepside like yours and a '55 Cameo. Both have the "bad" body with the slanted windows. At some point in the kit run, AMT caught the error and corrected it. But as Gregg said, it's a pretty easy fix with some narrow strip plastic. Or look for a cheap AMT '57 Cameo, it's the same body and all those had the right windows. If all else fails, get a resin body and convert it to a panel truck! From what I can tell, mine has the corrected body thank goodness. Snake45
It greatly extends its life. Nowadays I buy superglue in smaller tubes, and when one starts to go bad, I toss it and go on to the next. But those bottles are expensive and worth trying to make last as long as possible. I get mine at Dollar Tree. Original Super glue squeeze bottle for a buck. I buy several at a time and boy does it dry fast.

Best combination of price, nozzle design, and shelf life. For superglue gel, I'll only use LocTite. Vastly superior to anything else I've ever tried. I don't care what it costs (or even know, for that matter); when superglue gel is what you need, that's the stuff.

ranma
Just got the AMT TRANSTAR 4070 A Via Model car mountain (Ebay) I must say I'm rather impressed by the vastly expanded decal sheet! Comes with enough IH symbols and 4070 name tags that I can add them to one of my Original 4070A 's ! Nice photo of the decal sheet that the truck come with.... CabDriver
Speaking of Volkswagens (kinda…) - five dollar eBay find. It was apparently missing the decals and instructions, but they didn’t look very hard because they were in the box 🤪

lucky 130
Git the last of my Christmas presents today. My "Better Half" ordered me the Cal. Drag Combo. took from 10/04/20 till today. have not mastered posting pics, so I'll give a quick review. 3 separate bags of models Falcon, Galaxie, and tow trailer. The trailer has been realest several times. so there are no surprises. The "Falcon" and the Galaxie like wise have been released several times also. All are good starting points for really good models by adding details and painting. I'm stoked & by the time I finish them, maybe I'll have learned how to post pics. Matt Bacon
Well, my policy of setting the price I'm prepared to offer on the 'bay and bidding over and over on different auctions finally paid off. I've been after one of these for a long time, and finally got it for a sensible (to my mind) price: That just about does it for the Fujimi Enthusiast kits that I've been chasing. Now I just need to build them... best, M.
