Stopped by HL on my way home to see if they had any of the '53 Ford pickup w/ trailer. They didn't, but scored another Revell Porsche that was mispriced. For $16 I couldn't pass it up. Hitting up a car swap meet in the morning, hoping I can unearth a few treasures there.....

I posted pictures of my log truck build on another forum I hang out on (sssshhhhh, don't tell anyone...) and one of the responders said he had a couple of old kits if I was interested.  Um, yeah....

The '57 Ford appears to be complete and unbuilt tho the box was open so there may be parts missing.

The IH 4270 is a glue bomb, not sure what all is missing but there's a ton of usable parts for sure.  Once I get the log truck a little further along, I may see if it's worth trying to recover or if it's just parts.  Either way, I'm happy.

Enjoying a little kibble while you tinker with your '36 Ford, Jeff?

I find that Fancy Feast has a nice picante flavor, but Friskies is a little too uninspiring for my taste.  :D

I saw that, thought it was bowl of pretzel goldfish. Lol. It’s even funnier with cat food. ??‍♂️?

There’s a 1/24 Hughes 500 out there. I’ve got one for same reason.
Idea and Hobbycraft did it. Nichimo has 1/20. There’s a civi and military version. Of course I have both ??‍♂️

Hit up the swap this morning. Pics posted in the photo section if interested. Here's my haul from the show- Got the 2 promo/annuals and Jo-Han Caddy for $10. The Pontiac will probably wind up being a convertible as the top is warped pretty bad.  The Galaxie needs a rear bumper and the Caddy a top boot, but no complaints at what I paid. The Lindberg Phaeton is an absolutely crude mass of styrene of a kit but for $1 the box art is cool!

The Hubley Packard & Corvette were priced too reasonably to pass up as well! Even bought some 1:1 parts which was nice.

I went to Hobbies Unlimited in San Leandro CA yesterday and picked up Moebius 1971 Ford Ranger pickup.  This is the first Moebius kit I have ever bought.  Pretty impressive parts count.  The kit is packed with a lot of parts trees.  It took me a while to repack all of the parts trees back into the box!

Received a 1/8 scale 1967 mazda cosmo kit. Kind of a funny car. Going to repaint it red or orange. This kit has a lot, I repeat , a lot of parts. Jay Leno has one. So since he finds it interesting and I find it interesting I’m going to build it.

I haven't used it yet. On the back of it is "oracal.com" and Orajet  Digital printing Medium. Unlike BMF there's a white border around the wood grain. It has a definite vinyl smell to it, too. I have 3 different shades of the woodgrain- looks like mahogany, oak, and maybe pine.
