If I'm going to pay $6 S/H on a $7 purchase (some PE thingy), I may as well throw in a couple kits for a nominal shipping increase to make it worth while...Right?image.jpeg.a2ac66d637e90f6404773ac661dcb53f.jpeg

Got a few more deliveries. It is like Christmas, only in February and I have to pay Santa back or he charges 21% interest. LOL

Baja Bug conversion kit with exhaust, Jackman wheels, and tires are from Texas 3D

Bronco Roadster door inserts, and mirrors are from Iceman Collections

Baja Bronco, and dually wheels, off-road tires are from EBAY

This is my 5th time ordering from Iceman. His stuff is outstanding. My first with Texas 3D. I would have to say the same. Outstanding.

Got these this week. 69 Camaro widebody kit and a 2015 Mustang snap kit for parts or replication, to fit the Flintstone van.

Normally Saturday is my sleep in day, but for some reason I woke up early. Figured might as well go have breakfast and hit up a couple "antique shops" that I haven't been to in a while. Glad I did!

The Arcade Chevrolet will go nicely in my small but growing cast iron car collection. The Hubley Vic & Model A pickup kit came from the same store. There was a Hobby Lobby about 6 blocks away- why not pop in there too. It is 40% off week after all. As I was checking the cashier at HL says "looks like you got your work cut out there" I told her "you don't know the half of it, I've got more kits that what y'all have on the shelf back there"

Carl, I came home from the hospital as a newborn in a 64 Galaxie 2 door ht, my second car was a 64 Galaxie 2 door ht, and my 4th car was a 64 Galaxie 2 door ht. I have a soft spot for them..... and a 64 convertible kit that needs parts. I think I have a total of 7 of these Drag Combo's!

Looks like the original.  Reissued once around 2000.  Neat kit and concept.

This pasted on label on the box says Round2 2012…so I don’t think it is an original.

Stopped by Hobby Lobby this weekend - they have a new (to me…) knock-off of the Tamiya paint stand, so I picked up one of those to try out (‘40 Ford Survivor for scale):

IMG_3907.jpeg.7969e4476bc9d85462a198159c595f3c.jpeg

It’s a little taller than the Tamiya stand but otherwise similar.  Cheap feel, will do the job it’s intended for though…

Picked up one of these also:

And today Walmart had some kits over by the Hot Wheels:

…and the Boss Nova followed me home:

Wish I’d grabbed the Monte Carlo too now…

Ahh, my bad.  Missed that.  Looks like they went back to the original box art from 1969.  I didn't recollect another reissue, but I have one in the stash, so not much interest

The Round 2 issue is desirable in that it includes a copy of the display background that came in the original issue kit.  The Millennium issue didn't have that.

Mail call Today  Decal tool and seat belt handwear and one Kit enjoy !

I bought one of these decal squeegees on a whim when making a large order with HLJ. I actually expected it to be kind of pointless, but it has proven to be a real gem. I was struggling with all of the thin pinstripe decals on a JPS Europa when I remembered this thing lurking in my tool box. It really saved the day, and earned it's keep immediately. It comes out now anytime I am applying a decal larger than a contingency sticker.

I'm a sucker for anything '64 Galaxie! Thanks for your post! Jim

Nice kits, I need both those to add to the pile. I'll have to remember my Burbank log-in. Are they the full detail or curbside?

Haven’t fully checked them out, but think both have the engine. I know the coupe even has the engine stand to display separately if you want.  For the trunk detail you have to cut the hood out, to be able to see spare tire etc. The Carrera is suppose to be the enthusiast line just a different box art as well.

EDIT: just looked at both, and there both the enthusiast versions. Both have engines while the coupe versions comes with a display stand as well.  Little flashy on both kits, but nicely detailed.
