Today I received a Revell 56 F100 from Karl aka 64ss350. It was a Pay It Forward deal.

I've been "straightening" that one out since the kit first came out. I have not given up, as I want to do  it as a companion piece to the new "Foose" kit.

A recent acquisition....

I'm jealous! I have a derelict '72 Resin kit that I may combine with an AMT '70, as I cannot afford a decent '72, and the one you have looks very nice.

Just got a set of NOS Revell '62 Plymouth wheelcovers; more accurately shaped than the Jo-Han ones:

Also got a '40 Ford coupe interior and dash, molded in black from the early issue of the kit - that nearly completes my black-molded parts pile '40 (just need a black seat, steering wheel and column).

I'll try to keep an eye out for those at local flea markets.  Recently at a flea market, I found a complete, unbuilt original AMT 40 Ford coupe. But it was molded in grey plastic.

Here's a weird thing about that kit that tickled me. The one I found had the decal sheet from the AMT '32 Ford coupe in it (red and white scallops).  Not the flame decals shown on the box art and usually found in the '40 coupe.  At first I suspected the original owner had just swapped decal sheets around. But I've seen one other original '40 on eBay with the same '32 coupe decal sheet. AMT was pumping out a lot of kits back in the early Sixties.  So I guess if they temporarily ran short of decal sheets, they just threw in whatever they had on hand.

Saturday I got a large set of micro number drills, another small set of micro drills, four bottles of Micro Mark mold casting silicone for $30. A box of kits from Dave Branson, and a sunburn from NHRA Nationals yesterday.

Just bit the bullet and sprung for one of these. I've wanted this thing for years, and thought it was long gone out of production. Found one for sale, bought it.

You wont be disappointed. His stuff is so nice. Price is abit up there, but you get what you pay for. I mocked mine up with the new wheels/tires and man, does it look so much better than the kit parts.

A couple of Foose F100s and a AMT Gas Man arrived on my doorstep  from Plastic Models and an order I had placed with Model Builders Warehouse came in as well.

This was the first time I have dealt with Model Builders Warehouse and from shipping the order immediately to excellent communication and packaging I was very impressed and wont hesitate to purchase off them again.

The quality of the resin parts supplied from Clearly Scale and Fireball Modelworks were  impeccable too.

I got the McLaren, the Foose '56 Ford, and a couple extras of the '57 Ford tudor and wagon as early birthday gifts to myself a few days ago.   My birthday present today was the Hasegawa BMW 2002--got the payment request from HLJ for it this afternoon.

Mail man dropped this one off today.

Its a Johan 1969 GTX promo. Body, chrome and interior. Its got a damaged left front fender.  But considering what a nice goes for ( I got one of them as well. )  This one was cheap. I plan to fix the fender  ,then chop the roof off it and turn it in a convertible to replicate one of my old cars
