Tested the new white primer yesterday. It covers, smells, dries, and looks like the old stuff, so should be good. Full writeup to come down in Tips & Tricks soon--hopefully today. Good stuff!B)

Color place is really good primer but when you see it like Plasticote it's best to stock up...

This is a cool kit....

Had it arrived today, should have had it on Wednesday, but I was out when the post office tried to deliver it, as it needed signing for, I had to arrange a re-delivery, there's a lot of plastic in the box, I might buy the photo etch detail set for it when I order the paint from MCW lacquers.

Whoa ?. Sweet. The only large scale I ever did was the Tamiya 928. I was a kid so it was awful, but so cool to do something big!

Thanks Al, although I've got nothing going on here in the "On the Workbench" I've been busy in the background building Revell's 58 Corvette for Scale Modelling Now magazine...

Got another cheap sealed reissue Attempt 1, mainly for the Dragmaster chassis. Lots cheaper than the vintage parts-pack version, plus a whole lotta other vintage stuff in the kit, like a 3-71 blower.

Image result for revell attempt 1

Also snagged a partially assembled and display-model converted Strombecker 1/24 Maser. Included in the box was a nice set of PE wire wheel centers too.

GAVE YOU?!?!  I did the Tyrell 6 wheel and Ferrari Niki Lauda when I was a teen, always loved the 934.

The box is a bit tattered but it appears to be complete. My birthday present from my lovely wife ?

Well, William, it looks like we both have awesomely lovely wives!!…...I've been trying to get ahold of that kit myself, i'd even trade my Fujimi  EM Daytona for one, just to save me all the work of turning it into this one!....nice score!!...Happy Birthday, Bud!!!

Yes, Kurt....GAVE!!….he even paid the shipping from the other side of the country!.....same crazy-awesome friend who recently gave me a 1/12 Countach, and my wife, Tina a 1/12 Porsche 911 Turbo!   -I will be doing a super detailed build of one of his Lancia Stratos' for him as a thank you surprise.

Wow! That's a beautiful Maserati! It appears to be the same one I picked up a few weeks ago. Yours is in...well, there's no comparison. Mine's a bit rough, and sans box. Nice one!

Very interesting! I'm tending to think that's aftermarket. You used to see a LOT of those add-on strips back in the day. Not all of them were as neatly applied or as straight as this one, though some were.

Nice rare find. I have seen a lot of these cars with the little chrome trim vent behind the wheel and some without. Usually four door sedans but four door hard tops have them....weird. I have seen a super rare version of these cars with the bit of trim above the wheel well in the front fender that resembles three ventiports all in a row. Not common at all. Is that a model mid year change  ?

Model club meeting last night. Wound up with a Monogram Duesenberg phaeton kit in yellow. All unbuilt and clean. Also got the Hydro Vee boat kit in the raffle, plus a photo etch custom grille  which I think will look good in the Ford Van kit that just came out from Round 2

That might be the lower-line Special version.

Birthday was last weekend but Japan Post wasn’t timely enough. Thanks tho.

The 928 was probably 1/18, but bigger than 1/24. Lol

Today's finds. A group purchase. All or nothing. The Subaru has a key to wind up the motor.
