This body will need some work, though. Note that some previous owner removed part of the door window frame (a common problem), and likewise removed the door handles and Monza emblems. I suppose that I could try to foil-cast the handles and emblems off of another model.

For door handles, try the Fireball Modelworks  GM door handles. They are perfect and not expensive at all.  Once you try these you'll never settle for molded in handles again!

4 pairs like you see above are only $3. plus postage!    http://www.fireballmodels.info/

That would really hurt me.  I use Model Master and/or the square bottled stuff for interiors and engines.

There is plenty at the Hobby Lobby I use. You can order direct from Testors..

They are pretty!

I recently picked up a rack of the GM and the Mopar B-body handles from Joseph!

I only wish that they were already chromed! :D

I havent built one yet actually. I have the newer kit and the original 71 yellow kit too.  I may start the new version soon through so I'll report back.

So, I went to visit my Buddy yesterday and take him the gift I had gotten him (1/8 Revell 32 Ford Roadster kit) and he is getting away from 1/24 and 1/25 scale. He gave me a large box with about 15 parts kits and a couple of parts boxes! In one of the kit boxes I found this painted 55 drag body with a bunch of the parts for it.

In another box I found the rest of the parts for it! Looks like I found something to mount my new aluminum wheels from Vintagedragcrazy, when they arrive.

He also gave me these started projects.

Which project should I work on after finishing my 57 Wagon and the 55 drag?

I had used up the 100 generic #11 blades that I got last century, ordered from eBay 100 more with a handle, received today.  I know they aren't authentic X-acto, box has inspix, but cost $10.99.  I don't think twice when a blade stops working well, to change it out.

Came in the mail today from the Netherlands.  ICM 1/24 Paris taxi, which is a 1910 Renault.  I've really fallen hard for brass era autos, and there aren't a lot of them in 1/24-25 so I had to get this one.  It'll be on-deck shortly.

Thanks, Tom. I have already contacted Joseph to see about ordering them.

Question: When you use them, did you just glue them on, or “pin” them???

Thank you, really like that car. Had a silver one in 1976. Best sports car I ever had. 95 mph it still got 28 mpg

I have found that they are too small to drill out for a pin!  And I pin everything!

I have suggested to the maker that he turn the sprue piece on the button end to a peg so we can drill a hole and plug it into the body.  So for now, we glue!

A few added to the stash, the Oldsmobile was a gift, even though I did already have one in the stash, I'm not one to turn down a free kit.

Picked this up today. Everything was $2 a box.  6 unbuilt kits and 2 boxes of parts. A lot of parts for the Nissan pickup if anyone needs them. It looks like it’s missing the body parts. Another box that had parts to the Knight Rider 2000 kit and a Silverado pickup. If a one sees any parts they need hit me up.
