SfanGoch Posted February 19, 2020 Posted February 19, 2020 Picked up a Revell 1962 Dodge Lancer an AMT 1962 Chrysler Imperial Hardtop and an AMT 1959 Lincoln convertible
89AKurt Posted February 19, 2020 Posted February 19, 2020 Spot Model is a money magnet, and I gladly succumb. Got the last parts for the Audi Quattro, can't imagine anything else that will come out (got the engine last time). BMW engine, cool winter studded rally tires, and the drill set seemed like a deal considering I get individual bits at Hobby Bench in Phoenix.
SfanGoch Posted February 19, 2020 Posted February 19, 2020 Nice haul Kurt! Spot Model is a great store to donate your money.

I always thought I messed up the only one they ever made years ago.

The Lancer is just plain cool, and I believe pretty darn rare! The other 2 are just really nice built examples! I would have a real tough time forcing myself to change anything on that Imperial! Really nice haul!! Steve

ChrisBcritter Posted February 19, 2020 Posted February 19, 2020 Very cool indeed; it's got those little 13" four-hole Halibrand wheels you can't get anywhere else. Great for the front of small drag cars like Topolinos, English Fords, Crosleys, etc. Oh - and the Continental's a '60.

SfanGoch Posted February 19, 2020 Posted February 19, 2020 I should have caught that too. There's a guy a couple blocks from me who owns a mint condition Pastel Yellow '60 Lincoln 4 DR HT which I ogle at every opportunity.

OldNYJim Posted February 19, 2020 Posted February 19, 2020 Stopped by a Blicks this morning on my way to somewhere else for some K&S metal rod and sheet and they had all the packs of tube for 99 cents, and 50% off their rolls of thin metal sheet. Their display was pretty much picked clean (at least of anything I’d find useful) but I grabbed what they had, and some wire for scratchbuilding bits and pieces:
kelson Posted February 20, 2020 Posted February 20, 2020 Couple more kits to add to my outta control collection!
berr13 Posted February 20, 2020 Posted February 20, 2020 Made a random trip to Hobby Lobby today with my girlfriend, and found a Revell '67 Nickey Camaro reduced to $9.95. It came home with me!
