Saw this version at the Masscar show back in 2002!

I could just see that. A bunch of party girls and a trunk full of the finest Tsing Tao beer

Don't consider them weird, but scored the Visible man and woman off evil bay several years ago. Both unassembled except for the baby. Then to complete the package I scored the visible horse at the flea market unbuilt for the amazing price of $5.00

OK, I'm going to do it.

I'm challenging the weirdness of the Amoeba kit. Not sure whether I succeed, but I'll give it a run for its money.

Have the infamous Chuka Cannon.

That's it. That's the weirdest kit I have.

Christian: That Hughes is da bomb! I'm a big fan of the OH-6 (military version). I used to be around these things all the time at Ft. Hood and then again in Iraq. That Chuka Cannon is on the verge of pornography!! lol

Clayton: It looks like that model could get in depth real quick! Nice!

Bill: That's a nice stack of up of builds that you have there!!

Allen: That's awesome. Post a WIP when you get to that one. I could never build something like that as I suck at figures as of now.

Tom: That's a cool build and a great theme!!!

Thanks, Joe!

Wonder if that tooling still exists at MPC

or was the "Californian" the last version offered??

A few years ago I would've said that the tools were probably long gone and no one would resurrect it, but after some of the things Round 2 has come up with lately I'm not so sure any more...

I've been told there's a photoetch set for this. It replaces all the tower structure and a bunch of other stuff. It costs more than the kit, by about double. Edited by Petetrucker07

Tulio,

I'm not gonna quote your post; I find that "art" to be fairly offensive. I've got lots of questions but the one I'll ask is "Why?"

Why did you post that to a HOBBY forum? Too calm for you so you think we need some politics to stir stuff up? That's precisely why 'politics' is not allowed here.

That was very inappropriate. I too find that very offensive. That's all I'll say now because the rest of what I would like to say would just a bunch of "blah". I'll keep the rest of my opinion to myself.

Want to bet that if one of us were to post a built up of one of Dr. Flintbone's adult figurines that it would've been pulled by a moderator by now as being inappropriate or offensive, but yet this fore mentioned piece is still here?

I thought this would be a great thread for my seven year old grandson to go through with me and show him some of the weird kits that are out there (he has a kit of a Polar Bear, and a horse) but I just couldn't come up with an explanation to him for that.

Just goes to show how toxic this message board has become. I've been a member on this mb for many years, however life got in the way and only recently have I had the time to resume building and spend some time here again. I think I'll just stick to the building for now. This is not the place it once was. As for "world class" most of those people don't seem to be here any longer, wonder why? Thank you Tim and Art for your insightful posts, I'll have to find them elsewhere for now. The armchair C.E.O.s, engineers and taste makers can continue with their conspiracy theories and name calling, apparently you know more than everybody.
