Saw this Factory Five MK4 Roadster about two hours ago while taking a ride around the neighborhood. The owner told me it's still a WIP and has a 302.

I noticed that; but, his wheels, he is building it himself and he's happy with it. Who am I to tell him to lose the letters? :D

This car is wild looking.

Factory Five doesn't offer built up GTM's, only DIY kits. FF can recommend companies that will assemble their cars.

The 2019 Aston Martin Vantage. The factory is not far from here so we see Astons on a regular basis before their release.........photo1-th.jpg

I have no idea what it is other than it has a Volkswagen emblem on the rear.

That rump sure looks like a GEO Metro. This builder must have had some interesting Wrecking Yard Crawls. Parked on the grass so he may be a Red Neck.

I was thinking Geo Metro, but the taillight shape makes me think more like a 90s Honda Civic

I think they used a lot of everything to put this together. I'm not Dissing this, just wondering what all went into it. This reminds me of a puzzle they used to have in an automotive magazine where they would have picture of a car that was made up of many different body features and you are supposed to identify what car they came from .

Yeah, some sort of junkyard Frankenstein monster...

Most people won't care for this, but I love lifted Subarus. This one is at my dealer. Two inch lift, plus slightly larger rubber.

I was there picking up a couple of Ascents yesterday and this caught my eye. Now I want to build one for myself.

Spotted three today in Northbrook: Sweet black '58 Coupe deVille at a body shop on Techny Road, a cleanly built fenderless maroon '29 A roadster turning north on Milwaukee Road, and a '76 Eldorado vert heading south on Pfingsten near Willow.

Yep, right near that strip of bars and restaurants there - it's usually parked there.  There's a cool 70's Chevy truck that's always within a block or two:

Plus this bitchin' VW:

And this too:

Pretty good neighbourhood for cool cars!

Super sad to see those one.  Looks like it was a very nice car.  I saw this in a rest stop on the Pennsylvania Turnpike yesterday.

Roof flat, looked like it was rolled good. Not a straight panel on the entire car.

This wasn't on the flatbed right after the wreck, it was on a transporter headed somewhere.

I hope he had Stated Value Insurance, otherwise this will truly be a write off.

Saw a lot of nice stuff over the past 2 days.

No photos, but I saw a nice red '69 442 pull up out in front of my work place.

a few minutes later, a beautiful light green '53 Studebaker.

Today, an extremely nice pink & black '56 Ford.

Was actually last week. But saw A 1961 Chrysler Newport sitting in the parking lot near us.

But still kinda neat to see (sorry...no pictures while driving )

Took this a couple of weeks ago. That is a new Nissan Rogue with a dealer plate hanging off the back. The other car is a 2018 Volkswagen Golf, also with a dealer plate on the back. The VW dealer is across the street. That building on the left is the Nissan dealer.

I'm guessing this is not the preferred way to demo drive new vehicles!

We cruised through the Encinitas car show yesterday. I was driving, so wasn't taking photos, but lots of interesting cars, both foreign and domestic. I recommend this event to anyone in the area. It's the third Thursday of the month between May and September.
