What did you see on the road today?

Out walking the dogs this afternoon, saw one of the new Amazon Rivian electric vans.  Chatted briefly w/ the driver, said it’s more spacious than the Ram ProMaster and very quiet.  Neat design.  I like the huge taillight strip.

on my way to work i saw a 56 Chevy.

on my way home from work i saw a, not sure if it was an FRS, BRZ, or GT86, but it was orange with tiger stripes.

A study in weathering.. I might just try to duplicate the paint job. It’s how trucks wear out west.. from the top down.. east coast trucks rust from the bottom up!

Today in north San Jose, I was at a red light waiting to make a left turn when a nice stock Ford Model A sedan crossed the intersection.  I was surprised to see it on the road and that it was traveling pretty fast for a stock Model A.

Not only did I see it, I rode in it. Owner is part of a local Ghostbusters cosplay group, he also drives for Lyft. All that junk on the roof rattles a bit, and like most Toyotas the shocks had nearly zero rebound damping.

Imagine ordering a Lyft or Uber and that rolls up! I'd be right into it!
