jbwelda
Hyundai's are cheap to buy and to run, good use of taxpayers dollars if you ask me especially compared to some 12 mpg amerikan sled. and face it, its a far better car by most any measure, will probably run twice as long as that Chrysler. One of these days we have to get over this notion that we are the best and so is anything we build, its just not true by a long shot anymore. jb

I have no problem with agencies getting the best vehicle for whatever it is that they do. Not all agencies need black Suburbans. The notion we need to develop is that we can again be the best and work toward that goal, and not be beholden to cost cutting CEOs looking to move product out the door. Tom Geiger
Wow! That Power Wagon is gorgeous! And a fresh restoration, I wouldn't mind having that in my garage! And that would make a great kit, with military cross over. There is a nice diecast already.

johnbuzzed
Actually, Tom, I have seen that around a few times over the past three years. This is the first chance I had to get good pictures. I know that one of the Mint companies made two versions, but I would rather spend a little less, and have one or more in plastic.

Danno
Awesome pix, Dave! Independence Pass is impressive, is it not? And all the territory along those routes!
