espo Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 My travels around the area take by a large Avis Rent a car lot whenever I go to the model shop. They have a couple of rows of Teslas sitting that never seem to change or move.
Earl Marischal Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 Not seen one of these in a while. steve 1
sfhess Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 On my weekend trip to NNL West I saw a Rivian pickup and SUV on separate occasions. Also spotted a Lucid. And a million Teslas. They are all over silicone valley.

Plus a zillion of the cars on the streets in Sunnyvale, Santa Clara etc.

Sounds like the Tesla is popular in your area. While some have been sold around here, they are more of a Unicorn type sighting. I was in the mentioned area just this morning doing other things and I had to pass the rental lot. Same cars just a little dustier since we had a little weather a couple of days ago. I'm sure there must be a financial reason, but these cars all have Missouri license plates and I'm in Kansas.
Rocking Rodney Rat Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 Ha! Ya can't throw an empty beer can without hitting a Tesla around here.... -RRR
Tabbysdaddy Posted January 25, 2023 Posted January 25, 2023 I used to like looking for Teslas, sort of like slug bug without the slug. Now it's like looking for pickups, they’re all over.
sfhess Posted January 25, 2023 Posted January 25, 2023 In the parking lot at the Canepa Collection on Friday afternoon
mk11 Posted January 25, 2023 Posted January 25, 2023 Lotsa jdm stuff out here; saw a cedric last summer.
RSchnell Posted January 28, 2023 Posted January 28, 2023 Saw this nicely restored VW Camper on my way to lunch today. 1

sfhess Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 A beige 65 Tempest 4-door sedan. A 46-47 Buick.
89AKurt Posted February 12, 2023 Posted February 12, 2023 Yesterday I saw this Corvette, that a Gulstrand race car? Don't know if it's a replica. 2
keyser Posted February 12, 2023 Posted February 12, 2023 Rep. of a Grand Sport. These are better but a few on market. https://www.superformance.com/factory-models/corvette-grand-sport?gclid=CjwKCAiAlp2fBhBPEiwA2Q10DzqXxIAKXtAKQtecDFkgOnCQmrhxa7bSev5yiqC5R5Lyi37CFsN2WRoC4ZkQAvD_BwE 1
espo Posted February 12, 2023 Posted February 12, 2023 The Dealer on the back sort of makes me think it's a reproduction. The real thing is worth too much to be cruising around in traffic. 1
Tom Geiger Posted February 12, 2023 Posted February 12, 2023 My walkabout in the quaint little town of Allentown, NJ. Pretty little Saturn Sky. These are around with low miles and not too expensive. Late 1970s Corolla soldiers onward! This one is exact car my father in law had! They lied! They would not sell it to me for $17! Bait and switch I tell ya! 3
RSchnell Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 Got a tip about a '55 Ford Station Wagon in a small industrial area. Rode it out this morning and found the wagon(no pics, trying to work a deal on it), but spotted these too. I'm pretty sure the cab is a late 20s Desoto. 1
