Matt Bacon Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 not exactly the road, but saw this while I was out in the woods with my dog! best, M.
waynehulsey Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 not exactly the road, but saw this while I was out in the woods with my dog! best, M. Whoa!! Hard to top that.
Roadrunner Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 There was a very clean 1971 Chevy Caprice in front of us yesterday, very nice indeed, dark green and looked immaculate. No photos though, as I never seem to have a camera with me.
cowboy rich Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 not exactly the road, but saw this while I was out in the woods with my dog! best, M. that isway beyond cool (literally and figuratively) nice sighting bet it made a bit of ruckus
Tom Geiger Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 I have to get a dash cam! Heading towards New Jersey on the Pennsylvania Turnpike yesterday we passed a Ford Model A headed the same direction. He was in the slow lane and had a flasher on the back of it to warn people of a slow moving vehicle. It was really odd to see this survivor in modern traffic.
Rob Hall Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 (edited) Saw a rusty XJ Cherokee covered in mud, though up close it wasn't clear if it was actually mud splattered from off-roading or it was painted on.... Edited August 6, 2017 by Rob Hall
waynehulsey Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 Guess I need to get someone teach me how to use the camera on my phone. Was heading up 67 Ave by Greenway for people familiar with the area yesterday and I'm almost never in that area. Saw a Crosley wagon on a trailer, couldn't tell if it'd been hot rodded or not.
Modlbldr Posted August 9, 2017 Posted August 9, 2017 Wow! Like to say waste of a good car, but we all know that ain't true......Lol Later-

I saw a commercial on TV for a mirror camera that mounts over your stock mirror and it has a built in camera that can be turned to different directions and plug in a cord to down load. May be a good investment. ????? I forget the name and I think it was around 50 bucks.
Perspect Scale Modelworks Posted August 10, 2017 Posted August 10, 2017 LOL! Certainly a waste of money.
robdebie Posted August 10, 2017 Posted August 10, 2017 Do American car meetings in the Netherlands also qualify for this thread? If yes, here are two cars of last Saterdays meeting in The Hague, with maybe 150 cars attending. I don't know zilch about the two pictured cars, maybe someone can enlighten me? Rob
Rocking Rodney Rat Posted August 10, 2017 Posted August 10, 2017 Saw this when I was up in Maine a few weeks ago...any guesses as to what make it is? -RRR
Foxer Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 (edited) Here's a few rolling on the roads in the Berkshires I see this Nisson almost every day. The lightning was applied with an airbrush I had five of these, glad to see one still on the road. Edited August 11, 2017 by Foxer

Xingu Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 (edited) My 1st thought is a Durant ? Regardless, its nice. Funny how we get a gut reaction when we see something like this car. My first thought was Pierce. Edited August 11, 2017 by Xingu
gtx6970 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Funny how we get a gut reaction when we see something like this car. My first thought was Pierce.Pierce is a maybe. There were literately dozens of car manufacturers back about this time frame. Would like to see more of it. I have a decent late teens / early 20s model stash put away . And the desire to dig into that section of the pile is growing steadily
Earl Marischal Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 (edited) That green thing in Robdebie's post is hideous, whatever it is.steve Edited August 11, 2017 by Earl Marischal

Rob Others will chime in but the first I believe is a 1950-51 Studebaker Champion. The canister in the rear window is (more or less) an early version of an air conditioner. The curb feeler on the front bumper is a nice touch. My grandparents always had them in the early 60s.

The Junkman Posted August 12, 2017 Posted August 12, 2017 I don't think I've seen a stock Chevy Fleetline in 20 years. They are extremely popular in the Old School Low Rider scene.
