In the early eighties I got back into model cars after a long hiatus and this was one of the first that worked out OK.

I was working for a Swiss auto importer/distributor at the time and one of our painters showed me how to use car paint with an airbrush.

I'd also just discovered Bare Metal Foil, without which I might never have revived my boyhood interest.

I built it kurbside because, although I've always loved cars, I've never been mechanically minded. No internet research, of course,  but I guess photos of 57 Chevys weren't that uncommon  :P.

Absolutely Beautiful Peter! Is the script on the hood and tail fins done with gold BMF or painted?

Thanks Gregg. I did the scripts first with BMF then painted them with Tamiya clear yellow.
