Ride your bike back and get some more pics of that 288 GTO in the showroom!

In the same supermarket car park, on different days:

1952 Triumph Renown

1952 Triumph Renown

Triumph Renown from 1952. Very dated styling by that time.

1975 Ford Consul 2.0 L

1975 Ford Consul 2.0 L

1975 Ford Consul, better known as the Granada Mk1. This one has the 2-litre engine, they're particularly popular with a 3.0 V6 which offers a fairly sporty drive for a big saloon of the '70s. Very funky Purple Velvet paintwork, a factory offering back then - I've painted one of my models in the same colour.

Does somebody make a really good kit car of the Ferrari 250 gto?

I saw one while driving, going the opposite direction.  I seriously doubt it was real, but assuming it was a kit car, it was very convincing.

No pics.  I was driving.

Citroen Traction Avant in black, naturally.  Just like this and in the same parking lot as the E-Type Jag I posted a couple of weeks ago.

Lots and lots of smoke from the Canadian fires. There were times you couldn't see for a 1/4 mile.

I feel ya, brother.  I live in a valley in Nor Cal and there have been times you couldn't see a couple hundred yards when the smoke rolls in and settles.
