What did you see on the road today?

Stumbled on this while walking the neighborhood. 71 challenger R/T 440 6 pack convertible. Nice looking ride. But wait.....I may be wrong but, from what I could find, Dodge discontinued the R/T option for convertibles after '70, only available with a hard roof. 383 was the largest engine available for the drop top. The Hemi too of course. Looks like a very well done what if. Can anyone from the Mopar camp confirm?

Wow, now that’s a gorgeous Challenger!

I saw this yesterday biking through a parking lot. I love it’s aged and used look!....

Travelling around the neighbourhood on southern Vancouver Island spotted this early VW Type 2 and the 64 Goat. The Volkswagen’s cockpit is very aircraft like with the sliding side windows and the flat multiple panes. The gorgeous yellow GTO was out at Island View Beach and resembles an early build of mine from the 80s. The replica Cobra was in downtown Duncan parked behind our Jeep.

Cheers Misha

My first time seeing one of these. I'm not sure I'd be happy going to my final resting place in a Pacifica but at that point I guess it doesn't really matter.

I've told my wife. My last ride better be in a black Cadillac or I'm coming back and there's gonna be problems. 👻😈

A 2020 (or thereabouts) Shelby GT500, classic in white with Kona Blue stripes.  Parked at Pier 48 in San Francisco (covered parking for the nearby Giants game) yesterday.

Visualize this with blue stripes.

As an aside parking was $50 (no, not a typo) but at least it was secure from the car break in's in the city.

I knew it was somewhere in that area but couldn't remember exactly any more!LOL

The only reason I can tell the difference is because of personal expense...er uh I mean experience.

Nice old Ford ! Loved those years!

We had a neighbor who worked in the Ford Dealer body shop back then and I remember him sowing my grandpa how they would trade out grills and other trim items to upgrade leftover trucks to the next model year! Said Ford wouldn't issue a title for them until they were sold so that they could do that!

Reminds me of how they dealt with the stock of unsold 1969 Shelby Mustangs and how they simply painted stripes on the hood and, et voila, 1970 Shelby Mustangs.  I think they may have had to adjust the VIN's though.

Yes, that was part of the change that they were doing.

I was in traffic yesterday with a Delica. It is the only one I have ever personally seen in the USA, but they seemed to be as common as Camrys with dented rear bumpers when we last visited British Columbia. Not sure where his temporary registration was from. Not California because we A. Have a tag that goes where the license plate goes. and B. These aren't legal to register here.
