  1. That is pretty cool! I keep forgetting I have that kit, but, not anymore!
  2. So cool! Thanks for the heads up!
  3. Wow! That is one clean build! Nice save!!
  4. For a learning curve piece, they are not bad. And most of their stuff is now being made next to the big store names stuff. Get it, learn it and then decide if you want to move up to a more expensive piece, like a Sheline
  5. Wow, that came out very nice! Stance looks good from what I can see.
  6. I think this guy stole your idea! http://www.speedhunters.com/2016/11/revealing-project-yankee-otaku-muscle-car/
  7. Well, apparently there is more to the story about the cars past than what the Car and Driver article reads. http://unofficialamericangraffiti.weebly.com/the-1958-chevy-impala.html
  8. I built one when I was a kid in the early 80's, it was fun! Maybe I should find me a new one and give it a try again.
  9. I don't build stock, so the Foose 56 is not an issue for me. Finally, a '56 that does not look like chewed bubble gum! Thanks for the pics!
  10. Well, orange peel is caused by shooting paint too far from the surface, maybe try that.
  11. Finally found a Bronco locally along with the ol'79 Nova
  12. That would be totally awesome! I would love to have one in the pile!!
  13. Here is a Nitro 426 Hemi from an early top fuel car. Notice the water necks on the front of the cylinder heads. That is how water was added to the engine. Eventually, as race only blocks where developed, water was no longer used.
  14. How is this Kit News or a Review? Should be in the Aftermarket section
  15. This is a Street Hemi and the outlets are most likely quick connects used for testing on the Dyno.
  16. It is pretty impressive how accurate this kit is to the real deal. Even down to the "Soft Drinks" in the back of the truck! LOL!
  17. I almost exclusively use Tamiya Acrylic paints. Easy to mix, easy to airbrush and clean up is not as messy, plus they dry fast! I also use their acrylic clears.
  18. Oh yeah! That looks right!
  19. Very nice! Good to see you building again!! Did you make the Reunion?
  20. Oh, indeed, it is a great car! Very comfy and they where quite reliable, for a 70's car! I was just confirming the car size comparisons of the time and the normal car observation.
  21. Wow, bashing on a kid, way to go grown up model builders! Bet if he was a member of this fine board he would have been kudo'd to death!
