  1. I know its an old thread, but I got to say this is superb. Great detailing and colour choices. Shame you're not building anymore Jim.
  2. I can't wait to get my hands on this kit. I can't believe its still pre-order only in the UK. Will be watching your progress.

    1935 Delahaye

This is a kit that I've overlooked. You've done a great job there. I especially like the wire wheels. The Delahay has some lovely proportions. I think I'll have to find myself one of these kits. Would make an unusual street rod!
  4. Absolutely stunning.
  5. This is a fantastic job. A heck of a lot of work captured in just a few pictures. Agreed. Why don't plastic kit manufacturers treat us to all opening panels like diecast enthusiasts get?
  6. Really nice build so far. I like the blue. As you said - it really suits the GTO. Interior detail is lovely on this kit.
  7. Looks good so far. I'm jealous of your spray booth!
  8. Absolutely PERFECT.
  9. This is really cool. Ive never heard of, or seen this car before. The front end treatment with black and chrome works much better.
  10. Very nice job. I particularly like the wipers and the aerial. Are they PE parts?
  11. Lovely build. Some of those pictures look almost like a 1:1 car. Those moulded-in exhasts are tricky to get right, but you've done a fine job in making the underside look so good. This is the exact same colour combo I had in mind for my build. You've beaten me to it. I'll have to think of something different now.
  12. So COOL. Adding the vinyl top really works well on this. I love it.
  13. Lovely job. I see you smuggled in one picture of a 1:1 car. I like what you did with the boot (trunk). I wish Tamiya had done that with the kit. Great job on the hinges too.
  14. Randy - I am speechless. This work is amazing. Please keep going.
  15. This is a lovely job. Well done. This shows just how good one of these Trumpeter kits can look when all built up. I gave up on mine (as I was so disappointed with the kits engine), but seeing this inspires me to maybe build it with the rear canopy permanantly shut.
  16. I think this is amazing. I would never have thought a Rastar model could look so good. I am still convinced those first few pics are of a 1:1 car .
  17. The detail hete is insane. I love it.

    '58 Impala

Lovely job. Looks great in turquoise. Why weren't you happy with the side trim? It looks fine to me.
  19. This project is insane. I love it
  20. Its strange how Aoshima got those bits of the body wrong. Good work on correcting them. I'll be following the progress of this one.
  21. Thanks for the suggestions. I must be daft as I didnt realise MCM could host pics for me. I just tested it and hopefully here is a pic of my WIP Galaxie…
  22. What a beauty. If I owned a 1:1 55 Chevy, this is exactly how I would want it. Great job.
  23. Absolutely stunning.
  24. Hello all, I used to get my forum images hosted by Imageshack. A few years ago, they decided they would no longer offer free hosting and wanted a monthly fee. As a result, my old build threads look a bit baron with all my pictures removed. I had some great images on my 1966 Ford Galaxie thread... This is very annoying, and as a result I have hardly posted any of my work on here in the last few years. My question is, am I being a bit too optimistic to hope for image hosting for free from somewhere? Where do others on here get their images hosted? Should I just accept that I should be paying for this service (I don't mind if that's what it really takes).
  25. You did really well there David. If I saw it on ebay I would have been bidding as well! I had a Lotus Seven kit from Southern Fine Craft and also their stand alone Rover V8 engine. I never got round to building either and finally sold them off (maybe 10 years ago now). I wish I'd kept them both. So, will we be seeing a build thread of this Magnette soon?
